I recognise how much courage it takes to approach a counsellor and share your personal feelings. Online therapy (via Skype) will ease any anxiety you may feel attending counselling in an unfamiliar environment, by bringing the counselling to you - in the comfort and privacy of your own home. No travel time, easy access, cost effective, flexible, appointments at your convenience and no waiting in a reception room with others. Emailing can also be beneficial in some situations as it can encourage you to communicate your thoughts more readily with detail, and also enhances a degree of anonymity. Some clients find it easier to talk through their personal issues without someone being physically close by. Not having to attend an office that requires waiting in a reception area also adds to the comfort and stress-free experience.
Emailing your therapist is also beneficial to some clients as it can inspire you to communicate your thoughts more openly and with time to consider them fully, adding detail. Emailing your thoughts also removes the sense of pressure that may sometimes come with face-to-face interaction or feeling ‘put on the spot’.
HOW LONG IS A THERAPY SESSION?
I offer a complimentary initial 15 minute Skype session, phone call or you can email me. This is the time to discuss your needs and goals, and to see if it feels right to move forward in scheduling an appointment.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
Skype and Phone calls - $1.80 per minute (short session up to 10 mins)

- 45 mins $60
Email - This can be discussed during the initial complimentary session.
Payment is made by credit card and Pay Pal, prior to each session.
CAN I CLAIM THE COST ON HEALTH INSURANCE?
My services are not covered by Health Insurance at this time. My price is less than other traditional therapists to compensate for this.
